  • Best note clipping and note taking apps out there

OneNote is the best note clipping and note taking app out there right now. And it's part of the MS Office packge. There are still some areas of improvement, such as making the tabs/pages sortable by "creation/modified dates" automatically. Overall, it's a great app.

I do like using OneNote. The only issue I have with it is that I can't save my documents to my laptop so that I can submit them to my professors for class. That is why I use google docs.

I really enjoy using OneNote. It helps me to categorize my work topics in various areas. I used OneNote for notes on Electronic Health Record Systems, Monthly Reporting, Notes on Various Reporting Requests I had. It is such an awesome app that I really enjoy using it as much as possible. Thanks Microsoft for this App in the Apple eco-System.

  • Kept losing my work by syncing to a version from day before without asking me

Kept losing my work by syncing to a version from day before without asking me. How?!!? No other versions were open. But it would appear like it was saving my work (both by auto-save and manually saving). Then an hour later, I would re-open it, and it apparently re-synced to a previous version, not saving my changes. This happened multiple times. I kept dismissing it as a fluke/user error the first two times, but actually I am tired of it wasting hours of work. Too bad because it would have been a good tool for sharable file folders for multiple people in my office.

Onenote is great note taking app, but when there are many notes, it cannot sync properly with mobile apps that decrease reliablity on it.

Tried many notes apps for personal organization. Use one one for work. Came to realization one note is better than any other organization/notes/journal app for categorizaing and creativie stuff. Allows you to draw as well. LOVE

I love this app. I've been using it for years. It's so handy to be able to have all your notes at your fingertips and be able to search through them quickly. The ability to add attachments and record audio directly within the app is amazing as well. I Use OneNote on Mac, PC and iOS and switch back and forth between them throughout the day. Highly recomment this productivity tool
