Are you ever going to fix this app after the last update that is garbage and full of bugs? It does not load! It’s completely useless and worthless! Can’t access itineraries. Can’t access anything for the airlines booked through Expedia. Had to download apps for airlines just to get on our plane. Can’t access hotel information due to app doing nothing. Can’t access car rental information. Can’t access app to do anything. You really put our entire family in a major jam over the holiday weekend. Why in the world would you release an app update on a major holiday weekend that doesn’t work? We have been using Expedia for years. But this is unacceptable, and now have no confidence in booking another family vacation through Expedia ever again.

This app used to work amazingly. Now it can’t even do a basic search without having to close it multiple times. E.g. looking for a 2 night stay in Culver City for next week and it keeps saying unavailable, filter your results. You mean to say NO hotels are available. Yeah right. Useless app now. Please update asap.
  • Expedia’s Latest Iteration

Never been so disappointed. The latest website revamp is a disaster! MANAGE ACCOUNT is not a main tab but a footnote!! My itineraries cannot be located by the auto chat agent and self management twice flaked out due to “errors on our part”. Fire your IT department/contractor.

They did all functions to our standards and we enjoyed the experience.
  • Don’t get the car rental insurance and beware what rental car company you use

Expedia has been good in the past for me on air travel and hotel bookings. But I doubt I will ever rent a car through them again. I’m not negative Nancy but it seems that customer service and service in general has really gone down the drain. This thrifty also got one star from me cause front of house customer service is decent and as attentive as they can be. But I had a minor incident the bumper and a parking stopper. I didn't buy their insurance cause Expedia sold me their Generali brand insurance and they ask for a documents like an in incident report and an estimate of repairs. Trying to file a claim with them was a hassle as well. Wasted half of my Saturday to deal with all this to arleast get another car to try to enjoy the last two days of my 4 day trip. It's been over a month I'm trying to get this handled and no one has actually provide me with any documents or an actual phone call. And I've contacted everybody I thought I could. Nothing they just keep giving me the run around, maybe like one email to let me know they received it and then, crickets. I will never rent from this company again. I bet you even their corporate division doesn't even give a crap they won't even respond to this review I left. That is how much they care about their customers. I'm now $500 out of my deposit which is all I want back. If I don't here back soon I'll have to get a lawyer involved. They really helped me never want to visit Puerto Rico ever again. And as responsible customer I didn't drive it around the lip was hanging and I didn't want to damage it further. And this is the treatment I receive. Expedia has no business selling people insurance policies that request all this documentation in the middle of someone’s vacation or trip. This is just ridiculous. The incident took 3 minutes to occur here I am a month later trying to pick up the pieces and get my money back. I wish I was wealthy enough to buy all these companies and fire all the idiots running them and get some real good people in there. Here I am on the Phone with a rep in the Philippines from Expedia to see if they can do anything with Generali. They are the insurance they sold me has this virtual agent who now says I have no policy with them after I correctly have them the number and I already had a response from Generali. Also after they responded to my online message about helping me. I can’t even enter their website as it doesn’t recognize my email address. I tried other addresses just in case I was mistaken and nothing.

I made a date error when booking my hotel room I tried to change it to the correct date and they refuse to fix the error. They say you can cancel your booking with no refund I was try to do this all within an hour of making the mistake. I ended having to cancel my booking and rebooking the room to fix the error. I called my bank and they said they can’t do that and they will get my money back for me but now my bank is telling me they are going to take the money back out of my account. Costing me now almost $5000 total for my hotel because they are going to try and keep $2330.60 from my first booking with the error I will not ever use Expedia again after my experience with their joke of a customer service which is all done through text messaging. And from what I’m finding on google this isn’t the first time they have done this and they have been through class action lawsuits for the same reason. I will be contacting a lawyer Tuesday 5/30/2023 due to Memorial Day weekend.

Crashes any time I try to look at a room to book. Can’t update because I just downloaded it, so I have the newest version.
