Is great when it works well which is almost always on iPhone. Can have issues with app on iPad.

  • Delivery vs internet

My neighbors don’t take delivery so it is an out of the way for a paper carrier. I like the internet app. I like how it is organized and easy to access what I want to read. I read the paper over breakfast. I wish there was more letters to the editor and perhaps differing opinions. JS

The Columbus Dispatch does well at local reporting, and the addition of the more timely overnight wire and sports coverage makes it invaluable

    1. Being printed out of state- it’s a step behind time wise. Events happening in the afternoon or later don’t get in. Scores are a day late. 2. I liked the size of the old dispatch. 3. Very rarely do we get even political coverage. Dispatch is very much a liberal media. It is overtly obvious. Even straight news stories carry a left leaning bias. On the plus side: cartoons and crosswords.

This app is a little clunky in that it updates but asks if you want to update. The news has mostly been on television yesterday or the day before. With the USA Today syndicate, there is news from other parts of the state which is not on television. They also have personal interest stories and ads. The free press keeps politicians honest by always being there and always asking questions.

Can get updated sports and national news under the “extra” sections. Plus read other local papers over the country.
